The Rankin County School District salutes all our schools for their continued legacy of academic and athletic excellence. Our mission is to provide students with a quality educational experience that reflects the values, needs and ambitions of our community and enables each student to succeed personally.
With eight attendance zones including Brandon, Florence, McLaurin, Northwest Rankin, Pelahatchie, Pisgah, Puckett, and Richland, RCSD consists of 27 schools and is the third largest school district in Mississippi.
For the 2008-2009 school year, 385 senior students were awarded nearly $13.5 million in scholarships.
